    Saif Al Arab Camel Racing Track 18.Mar.2017

           It is all about reserve camels’ heritage…


    • The “Saif Al Arab Camel Racing Track”   i.e.;   “Arab Sword “ was constructed beside the old ones  “ Al Ttai  “ ,  “  La Habab “  and  “ al Dastour “,  as sub – tracks to the main  one  “Al Marmoum Smart Camel Racing Track”  at   Dubai Camel Racing Club  ( DCRC ).


    • His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum , Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai , has instructed to build this track to preserve our tradition and to enhance camel racing sports.


    • The track acquired the title “Saif AlArab “by His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, a title that carries the originality of the Arabs traditions and the nature of the inherent heritage.


    • The track has been designed to organize different races for different categories of camels on a distance limited up to five kilometers.


    •  The “Saif Al Arab Camel Racing Track” became a unique, supportive and an auxiliary track to the main one “Al Marmoum Smart Camel Racing Track”, where it sometimes arranges “Al Marmoum Final Festival Activities”.


    • On the other hand, the (DCRC) provided the track with ground leveling vehicles, lighting system and all required facilities the track needed. The (DCRC) also formed administrative committee to supervise the track.

    Lehbab Camel Racing Track 12.Mar.2017

    An Emerging and Promising Track…

    Lehbab is a genuine village about 50 km from Dubai city. It is known for camel raising, camel farms, camel training for races and breeding.

    In this issue we are going to shed some light on one of the historical camel racing track in Dubai, as we accustomed to and have promised our readers to furnish them a detailed history of each track in the UAE.

    Lehbab Camel Racing Track, will be our title for the camel track page, considers one of the oldest camel racing track in Dubai.

    As per the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the  " Lehbab Camel Racing Track" to be  annexed to Al Marmoum's  sub - camel racing tracks, i.e.; Al Tai   , Saif Al Arab  , Al Tey and " Al Dastour ", and also to be equipped with the necessary requirements and utilities.

    The track was founded and inaugurated by His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, with the attendance of Lehbab tribesmen and guests.

    Usually, the Lehbab Camel Track, starts its season in conjunction with the launch of Al Mamoum racing season. The activities and races last in Lehbab Track, pre Al Marmoum Camel Heritage Festival. Before the season starts, there are many summer races conducted on the Track.

    Important and famous races organize in the Lehbab Track annually, out of these races, His Highness the President Award, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Award, and His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award ,and many others competitions arranged on the track.

    The track has been upgraded under the directive of late Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, by elongation the distance of the track to six kilometers instead of the previous one of 3 kilometers, and to try to encourage more people to visit the area.

    The track enjoys considerable attention from Dubai government, by illuminating it with floodlights, new directional signs been installed, providing it with complete facilities were paving roads leading to it and to the pens as well.

    Lehbah Camel Racing Track, became one of the important track in the country, it also conduct many races for different categories.

    Dustour Camel Racing Track 14.Mar.2017

    • The Dustour Camel Racing Track (DCRT) is one of the fifteen plus Camel Racing Tracks spread across the UAE.
    • The (DCRT) is located in Dubai at Al Marmoum Area, beside the Dubai Camel Racing Club and can be reached via Dubai – Al Ain road.
    • The (DCRT) is divided into two courses, one course is one and half kilometers long, and the other is one kilometer and 200meters long.
    • The (DCRT) organizes races designated for Fatameen and Haqaqa categories.
    • The (DCRT) is fully equipped with public utilities and provided with full administrative supports.
    • The (DCRT) follows general rules and regulations executed by Dubai Camel Racing Tracks’ managements in general.

    Al Taai Camel Racing Track 16.Mar.2017

    • The Al Taai Camel Racing Track (TCRT) is located in Dubai at Al Taai area, and can be reached via the UAE High way Road “Emirates Road “heading to Sharjah.
    • The (TCRT) consists of two courses, one of 4 kilometers length and One round, the other is one and half kilometers length.
    • The (TCRT) organizes different camel races for different categories i.e.; Fatameen, Hqaqa, Laqaia and Yathaa .
    • The (TCRT) is well equipped from lighting system, sign boards and provided with well-trained registration staff.
    • The (TCRT) follows the same administrative and operational systems as in Dubai camel racing tracks.

    Al Marmoom Smart Camel Racing Track 17.Mar.2017

    • Previously was a sub race track to the main track at Sheba, where final festivals held.
    • In March 2005 ,His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of  Dubai, issued instructions  to construct  camel race track at Al Marmoum area in Dubai.
    • According to His Highness instructions, the track must be provided with international specifications and standards with modern technical equipments.
    • Numbers of consulting firms joined this project to review the maps and providing engineering consulting services.
    • The maps were included, racing tracks and roads,  in addition to the official facilities and platforms for the fans and studios as well as the entrances and exits.
    • The track been provided  with modern track machinery and equipments to
    • Facilitate a lot of complicated procedures for owners and fans and equipped with surveillance cameras.
